Fall for All 2017

UNC Law Alumni Association Scholarship Golf Classic

UNC Finley Golf Course
9 a.m.– 4 p.m.

In its first six years, the UNC Law Alumni Association Scholarship Golf Classic has generated over $140,000 in scholarship assistance. On Friday September 22 players will face stellar competition on UNC Finley Golf Course, the home of the North Carolina Tar Heels men's and women's golf teams. More important than who brings home the trophy is the knowledge that their day of fun is in support of a great cause - student scholarships. For more information or to pledge your support, contact Louise Harris at louise@unc.edu or 919.445.0167.

Each year, more than 70 percent of our students participate in projects offering high-quality free legal services. Alumni and Student Community Service Project

UNC School of Law | Van Hecke-Wettach Hall | 160 Ridge Road
Room 4004 (The William E. Graham, Jr. Classroom)
Noon - 1:15 p.m.

Alumni and students will be supporting the efforts of the Inter-Faith Council for Service, a not-for-profit non-denominational social service organization which provides basic services to combat poverty, hunger and homelessness in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. IFC is the principal agency in Orange County for mobilizing our community to address homelessness, hunger, and economic disparity.

Birthday Bags: The IFC Food Pantry distributes birthday bags to families that have a child celebrating a birthday. We will be creating birthday cards and assembling cake mix, frosting and birthday candles in a colorful birthday bag that will be delivered by our students to the Carrboro Services building for distribution.

We will also use this time for an open discussion of other potential projects, brainstorm ideas and learn more about student group initiatives for engaging in the community.

Spaces are limited. Please sign up by emailing Susan McLean (susanmclean@unc.edu). A complimentary ticket for Bluegrass and BBQ will be provided to each participant.
