UNC Law Alumni Association Scholarship Golf Classic
UNC Finley Golf Course
9 a.m.– 4 p.m.
In its first six years, the UNC Law Alumni Association Scholarship Golf Classic has generated over $175,000 in scholarship assistance. On Friday September 22 players will face stellar competition on UNC Finley Golf Course, the home of the North Carolina Tar Heels men's and women's golf teams. More important than who brings home the trophy is the knowledge that their day of fun is in support of a great cause - student scholarships. For more information or to pledge your support, contact Louise Harris at email@example.com or 919.445.0167.
Celebrating 20 Years of Pro Bono
The James M. Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence
225 Graham Memorial | 218 E. Franklin Street
Join students, faculty, alumni and staff for a reception celebrating the 20th anniversary of UNC School of Law’s Pro Bono Program. One of the most successful initiatives in the country, Carolina Law’s Pro Bono Program connects law students with projects under the supervision of practicing attorneys in both public interest and private practice. Each year, more than 70 percent of our students participate in projects offering high-quality free legal services. Please join us as we honor two decades of service to the residents of North Carolina and beyond.
Make a gift to the Pro Bono Endowment Fund in honor of this wonderful program celebrating a rich history.
Help us tell our story by sharing yours. Share your experiences, whether as a student or a graduate – or both – with UNC School of Law’s pro bono program. How did the pro bono hours you logged prepare you for your legal practice? Did your pro bono work influence your career path? How have you remained engaged with Carolina Law and our students through the school’s pro bono projects?
